Executive Director, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE)
Sue Friedman was a small-animal veterinarian when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 33, and learned she had an inherited BRCA2 mutation. After treatment, she recognized gaps in resources for people with inherited mutations. Sue founded FORCE in 1999 to fill this void in hereditary cancer information, support and research. As Executive Director, Sue has 23 years’ experience directing FORCE’s education and research programs.
