Steve has worked at the FDA since 2009. He is currently the Branch Chief, Hepatitis and General Virology, in the Office of In Vitro Diagnostics since 2012. He worked as a Scientific Reviewer in the same division for three years prior. Previous to his career at FDA, he has over twenty years of R&D experience in the medical diagnostics industry with increasing management responsibility, including Technical Director at Lonza Bioscience and multiple positions at Becton Dickinson. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Queensland, Australia, and was a post-doc fellow at Johns Hopkins University.
