SOO BANG is a Sr. Director of Global Alliances and Business Development at Celgene Corporation, where she works with corporate partner alliances. Previously, she was the Global Head of Clinical Site Contracts at Celgene, where she led was responsible for contracts, budgets, and central IRBs. Prior to Celgene, Soo was the Global Investigator Relationship Lead at Pfizer, where she led Lean Six Sigma project in improving US AMCs contract time and achieved 55% improvement. Her team was responsible for managing of FSP/CROs in the negotiations of site agreements for all sponsored US (Phase I-IV) studies and IIRs/IITs. Prior to Pfizer, Soo had various leadership and clinical trials management positions as Senior Director at New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation, Director, Clinical Trials at NYU Medical Center and Winthrop University Health System. She worked as a senior consultant with the Clinical Research Consulting Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a contributing author to the PwCs Institutional Review Board Reference Book. Soo most recently served as co-team lead for the Advancing the use of Central IRBs for the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative. Soo received her BA & MS from George Washington University and completed her fellowship at Johns Hopkins Health System. She was an adjunct assistant professor at GWU in Masters in Clinical Research Administration from 2002-2009. Soo is also a past president of the NY Metro Chapter of ACRP.
