Shannon has worked as a nurse for the past eleven years with the Cincinnati Drug and Poison Information Center. Over that time she has done a variety of research and surveillance work for both the private and public sector. Over the past five years she become more involved in CCHMC's advancement programs for both nurses and other allies health professionals. She has a wide breadth of experience in developing, implementing, evaluating and revising an advancement program and the positive impact they can have on for both the staff and the institution. Shannon has presented multiple times on this topic.
