| Shannon Huffaker began her research career in cardiology, with a background in cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology nursing. She received her CCRC in 2014 and a Masters of Science Degree in nursing in 2015. At present, she serves as the Supervisor of Department of Medicine Research at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania and is still active in cardiovascular research studies. In addition, she is working toward expanding research awareness throughout her institution and community by developing research education and outreach programs. |
