Sarah Long MSc, CRCP

Ms. Sarah Long serves as the Director of Research Operations at Augusta University. In this role, Ms. Long provides institutional direction for clinical, translational, and basic science research, which span Augusta University’s nine colleges.

Since 2015, Ms. Long has successfully implemented eight enterprise-wide research technology solutions, which have focused on decreasing redundant administrative processes, increasing research compliance, and improving revenue generation and collection across clinical and basic science research programs. Early career experience as a clinical research coordinator in the ICU, with oncology research, and with community based military research provided her with a thorough understanding of the complexities of human subjects’ research in diverse areas.

Ms. Long is currently completing an Doctor of Healthcare Leadership at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Her dissertation is focused on evaluating environmental influences on hospital service strategy.
