Sara Calvert is a Senior Clinical project manager at the Clinical Trials Transformation (CTTI). She is responsible for managing the development and implementation of CTTI projects. In collaboration with team leaders, she leads the creation of project plans and budgets, as well as the implementation of those plans. Prior to joining CTTI, Dr. Calvert was a clinical pharmacist and project leader in the Outcomes Group at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. She has eight years of clinical research experience at the DCRI, which included managing projects, conducting a randomized intervention to improve medication adherence, and serving as the anticoagulation monitor for a multi-center clinical trial. Dr. Calvert received her doctor of pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and completed an ambulatory care pharmacy residency at Duke University Medical Center and Health System.
