Samantha Birtel is a Global Trial Optimization (GTO) Senior Scientist at Merck and the Bladder Cancer Indication Lead. She has worked in oncology clinical research and healthcare for nearly 10 years, with direct patient care specialties in womxn’s health, cardiovascular critical care, and emergency medicine.
Sam joined Merck’s GTO team in 2018 and has supported both bladder and head & neck oncology clinical trials. She is also the project manager and subject matter expert for the implementation and expansion of Reify Health’s StudyTeam application across Merck’s oncology portfolio and select general medicine clinical trials.
