Ms. Sampson is the Chief Operations Officer and SUCCESS Center Director for the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research Institute (SCTR), the academic home of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical & Translational Science Award (CTSA). The SUCCESS Center serves as the front door of SCTR and provides research support services including research navigation and regulatory, recruitment, electronic data capture, budget development, and grant management consultation, training, and guidance for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) research community and SCTR’s affiliate partners. Ms. Sampson has a Master’s of Science Degree in Adult Health, Gerontological Nursing and over 32 years of nursing experience and 20 years research experience in roles including clinician, research nurse coordinator, grants administrator, and co-investigator. Ms. Sampson serves as the CTSA Administrator Key Function Committee Co-Chair and has served as the CTSA Clinical Research Management (CRM) Workshop Planning Committee for the past 3 years.
