Dr. Ronald Aung-Din completed studies in engineering at Bucknell and Cornell prior to obtaining his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He undertook residency training in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Florida and at the National Hospital, Queen Square, London, England. He has been practicing general neurology in Sarasota, Florida since 1985 and is also active in clinical research. An area of interest has been the treatment of migraine and tension headache with sumatriptan and tizanidine topical cream. He has presented four posters related to his work in this area at recent international headache meetings.
