Rene Blagg, BSN, RN joined the University of Missouri just over two years ago as a coordinator. Currently she is the research manager for the Department of General Surgery-Minimally Invasive Surgery division. While at the university she has coordinated research activities related to well over 50 clinical trials, as well as developed and written 40 research protocols. Her breadth of knowledge of HIPAA, IRB, GCP, and FDA guidelines has enabled her to serve as a resource for investigators in surgery and other departments. Prior to working at MU she was an independent Quality Assurance and Data collection consultant, as well as working at a bioanalytic research lab.
