Randall Huling

Randall T. Huling M.D. is currently the Medical Director and President of the Olive Branch Family Medical Center and Desoto Research Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Dr. Huling received his BA from the University of Mississippi in Oxford in 1977, and his MD from the University of Mississippi in Jackson in 1981. He served his internship and residency in Family Practice at Womack Army Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Family Medicine Faculty Development at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For the last 3 years in the Army Dr. Huling served as the Director of Residency Training and Assistant Chief of Family Practice in the Department of Family Practice at Womack Army Hospital. He left the Army in 1992 to return to his hometown of Southaven, Mississippi. Since then he has worked in community Family Practice. In July 2002, Dr. Huling received his certification as Clinical Research Investigator. He continues to be an avid researcher, with areas of investigation to date including urinary incontinence, migraine headaches, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, hypertriglyceridemia, among others. A Fellow and Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice, Dr Huling has received many awards, including the Army Achievement medal, Second Oak Leaf Cluster (1990), Meritorious Service Medal (1989), Army Commendation Medal (1987) , and the Armed Forces Expeditionary medal (1984).
