Having worked both in large multi-national pharmaceuticals and contract research organizations, Dr. Geoffroy has over seventeen years experience in all phases of drug development and clinical research. Trained in epidemiology and emergency medicine, he has continued to practice medicine while pursuing his career in the pharmaceutical industry. Upon returning from Japan where he was Head of Clinical R&D for Wyeth Research, he led the North American Influenza Clinical Franchise for Sanofi Pasteur before joining Biovail Contract Research. He has been principal investigator on over 200 clinical trials and has developed a keen interest in designing methodologies aimed at enhancing subject safety.
