Philippa Smit-Marshall is a UK qualified physician and pharmacologist with twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career she has been involved in clinical development planning, clinical trial management, medico-marketing activities and medical monitoring including pharmacovigilance. She is head of the European and Asia Pacific medical group at PharmaNet, where she is responsible for providing medical support to clinical studies conducted by PharmaNet and she also provides consulting support to clients on development planning, regulatory submissions and evaluation of drug candidates. Her therapeutic areas of interest include paediatrics, cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology and neurology.
