Dr. Neelum T. Aggarwal, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.She is the Clinical Core Co- Leader of the federally funded, Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center in Chicago and was elected to serve on the Steering Committee of the Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study Group (ADCS) - a federally funded group responsible for carrying out large scale clinical trials on aging and Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Aggarwal is a cognitive neurologist and in addition to her active clinical and clinical trial activities, she continues to conduct original research in a variety of large scale community based studies examining the changes that occur with cognition and physical function in the elderly. She continues to be the Principal Investigator /Co-Investigator on multiple clinical trials and is Co-Investigator/Examining Neurologist on grants funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA)- having performed over 1500 neurological evaluations in the homes of participants throughout the Chicago area.
