Graduated from nursing school in 1980. Has worked as a surgical nurse for over 25 years in the following areas: Trauma, Total Joint Replacement, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Pain Therapy. -Certified in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR). -Exposed to device trials in the OR. -Worked as a CRA for a major pharmaceutical company and received CRA training. -Worked also for a central IRB as a safety officer. -Approximately 2 years ago I was offered a position as a CRA with a large CRO that has a very good reputation in the research industry.
