Mattie McDowell is a Research Nurse at U. T. M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in The Breast Medical Oncology Department and native Houstonian. She resides with her husband Wayne and is the mother of Warrick, Wynesha, Whitley and Wyeisha. She is a member of the Houston Chapter ONS, Clinical Trial Co-Collaborator, Research Committees (ie CRNC, Taxol Nursing PACT), develops tools/programs to facilitate research nurses' roles. She is the recipient of M. D. Anderson's Quarterly Performance Award, STAR and Patient awards. Mattie believes each person's best is reflected in the achievement of M. D. Anderson's mission, vision and core values.
