Matt Baker has worked in the IRB field since 2002. Matt has worked in all aspects of the IRB profession including Compliance, Regulatory, Operations and in 2006 he founded Compass IRB. Matt began his career in Clinical Research in 1996 while running Ophthalmology clinical trials. This opportunity opened the door into the IRB space and Matt has enjoyed working for the past 8 years looking for ways to improve the IRB process. In 2011 Matt was an invited to speak at an International Ethics Conference in Beijing China where he was able to discuss the current IRB system in the United States.
