Faculty member teaching in College of Nursing with appointment as Clinical Research Scientist at Orlando Health. Have conducted clinical research in the acute and critical care setting for over 20 years, and consult with nurses and doctoral students conducting research in acute and critical care settings. Received PhD in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. Have been the recipient of numerous awards for teaching, research, and service, including the 2010 Distinguished Researcher from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
