Margaret F. Fay, PhD, RN, CCRC is Director, Global Clinical Monitoring, Medtronic. Joining Medtronic in 2011, Peggy has been a staunch advocate of innovation, driving new and innovative approach to quality initiatives in trial conduct. A prolific author and speaker, she is an active member of ACRP.

In the late 1980s, Peggy pioneered research into latex allergy, serving with a core team of physicians and scientists who sequenced the antigen leading to sensitization. Working on an FDA taskforce, she assisted in developing guidelines for latex safety. The author of Your Right to Know, Peggy authored an OSHA guideline on blood borne pathogen exposure, paving the way for improved worker protection in the clinical setting. For 28 years, she served as OR Director of Nursing managing multiple critical inpatient units. For over 30 years she has led domestic and international monitoring, auditing and project management services for international companies.

A graduate of Creighton University, St Catherines School of Nursing; Peggy holds a BA in Business and MA in Psychology from Columbia Pacific University, and a PhD in Psychology. She holds three patents in micro-current technology with applications for pain management, tissue regeneration, stem cell proliferation and angiogenesis, and two patents on Quality Systems Approach to Risk Mitigation in Trial Conduct.
