Lynn D. Van Dermark is co-founder and CEO of MedTrials, Inc. In addition to her management responsibilities, she currently provides training and senior-level consulting in regulatory strategy, clinical trial management, medical writing, SOP development, pharmacovigilance and quality assurance. Ms. Van Dermark holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Baylor University. As a nurse, Ms. Van Dermark advanced through the ranks into ambulatory care management prior to beginning her career in clinical research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she started as a senior research nurse in trauma and critical care. Since that time, she has functioned in numerous roles throughout the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device product development industry. She is a well-known and dynamic speaker to industry and an entrepreneur. Ms. Van Dermark is a Registered Nurse and maintains certification as a Clinical Research Associate through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and is regulatory affairs certified (RAC) through the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). Ms. Van Dermark serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, UT Arlington and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
