| Having spent nearly eight years living and working in France and Germany, I have a unique understanding of working in a culturally diverse and global setting. I have a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management, with a focus on International Business. Upon returning home to the U.S., I discovered this industry and began working with a local company in the city in which we lived. For nearly fifteen years, I have worked for Clinical Research Organizations, one of them for eleven years (!), and then accepted a position at another dynamic and well-established CRO. I made this change after so long because of the monitoring model that is utilized in my current company and because of the continuing growth opportunities that are available along the CRA career path. Without a doubt, our industry is driven by a passion for protection of the human subject and advancement in continued quality of life for all of us. As an industry, we strive to maintain a balanced work/personal life for those who are committed to those ideals. I continue to be interested in both my work as a CRA and also as a contributor to my company’s high performance culture in adopting more sustainable work/life balances for employees.
