Lestter Cruz Serrano Dr.

Dr. Lestter Cruz currently leads our efforts to assist Sites with SIP adoption. He collaborates with Sponsors at the most prestigious large Academic Medical Centers around the world. He also drives our regional site adoption with groups in US, EU, ASIA-PAC, Japan and LATAM. Dr. Cruz also oversees the development and execution of training and communication for our global audience. Prior to this role, Dr. Cruz worked at CHI Health, where he lead the Hematology and Oncology studies for the NIH Cooperative Group and Pharmaceutical Trials relating to treatment, prevention, and cancer control studies. During this time, he develop a strong professional relationships with colleagues, key opinion leaders, research directors, and other physicians interested in global effective clinical trials and safety.

Prior to this role, he worked at Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he conducted phase 2-3 clinical trials for Diabetic, Endocrinology, Metabolic and Cardiovascular patients. He ensured accurate progress of clinical trials from study acquisition/start-up through study termination by serving as primary liaison to investigators, patients, and Industry partner’s representatives. He has experience in multiple therapeutic areas as a physician, researcher, scientific writer, and regulatory expert. Prior to this role, he worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance were he gained valuable experience in Payer-Driven Markets.

He received his M.D. degree from the UAG School of Medicine and trained as a Family physician. He is a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist and is currently working on his MBA at the University of Nebraska.
