Kris is currently the Director of the Clinical Research Program at UNCW. Prior to her position at UNCW, Kris was the Associate Director of Clinical Compliance and Quality for AAI Development Services. Kris also worked at Burroughs Welcome, Inc., and Amgen, Inc., and she is frequently invited to speaking engagements regarding topics such as FDA inspections, GCPs, ICH, SOPs, and patient consent. She possesses over fourteen years of experience in performing audits and providing clinical compliance guidance both in the U.S. and internationally to clinical investigators, CROs, SMOs, and pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies. Kris obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a minor in genetics, and a Masters of Science degree in Management of Biotechnology from North Carolina State University. She also attended the MBA program at the University of Washington as a visiting graduate student, and received her Ph.D. in International Health Science from Touro University.
