Katie joined Halloran Consulting Group in 2011. With over 16 years of drug development experience, she focuses on Clinical Operations and Development, Program Management, and Alliance Management. Katie has expertise leading early- and late-stage cross-functional drug development programs, directing activities and teams for all phases of clinical development, and creating collaborative and productive alliances with partners.
At Halloran, Katie leads the emerging biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice area. Katie and her team provide on-demand clinical, regulatory, and quality support to companies ranging from small, virtual starts-ups early in development through growing pharmaceutical companies with late-stage assets. Katie often functions as an on-demand Head of Clinical Operations and/or Development and directs clinical development teams, advises on strategic planning initiatives, and provides recommendations related to process improvement activities.
Prior to joining Halloran, Katie held a series of progressive positions with Biogen Idec. She spent five years in Program and Alliance Management, where she drove program strategy and execution for development programs in Neurology. Prior to this, Katie was appointed Chief of Staff to the SVP of Medical Research and successfully designed and led the Medical Research Organizational Effectiveness function. Katie also spent six years in Clinical Operations as a line manager and Project Manager. Before joining Biogen Idec, Katie was a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital.
