Ms. Tolson has been a Consultant Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for over fifteen years. In 1994 she started Clinical Trials Management, Inc. Prior to this, she held the title of Project Manager/Senior CRA at Seragen, a biopharmaceutical firm working on Phase I- II oncology studies. She was also employed by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company as a Regional CRA. Prior to entering the biopharmaceutical industry, Karen worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the Department of Infectious Diseases where she assisted coordinating numerous Phase I-II NIH and industry sponsored clinical studies in HIV, oncology and dermatology. She earned a BS degree in Health Science, an MS degree in Management, and an MS degree in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices.
