Julie Thelen MSN, RN, CCRC

Julie Thelen, R.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., C.C.R.C., has been a Project Manager for the Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (CPCCRN) Data Coordinating Center (DCC) for two years. Prior to joining the DCC, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics Degree, and worked as a Systems Analyst on the University of Utahs Electronic Medical Record team. Her informatics expertise has contributed to CPCCRN efforts for electronic extraction of data from the EHR at Clinical sites. She is an experienced Clinical Research Registered Nurse (RN), having worked on the University of Utahs Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) patient-care unit. She has been an RN for the past eleven years, and has seven years of bedside-nursing experience. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and is President of the Greater Salt Lake Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Ms. Thelen has been actively interested and engaged in Generational Theory for the past seven years. In fall of 2013, she co-presented a talk on Generational Theory at a CPCCRN Steering Committee Meeting in Washington D.C.
