Julie Ozier

Julie Ozier has been in the human research protections and research compliance field for over 25 years. She is currently the Senior Vice President for Regulatory and Institutional Official at Advarra. Previously, she was the Director of the Human Research Protections Program at Vanderbilt University and Medical Center where she spearheaded the single IRB initiative through the Trial Innovation Network and as a founding member of IRB Share/Choice now titled IRB Reliance Exchange (IREx) system and operations. She has a Master’s in Health Law and is a Certified IRB Professional (CIP) as well as Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC). She currently serves on the steering committee for the Clinical Trials Transformative Initiative (CTTI), the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center (MRCT), and SMART IRB. Previously, she served as a Site Visitor and a Council Member for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protections Programs (AAHRPP) for several years. She is an active member of the HRPP community and has published and presented on various topics related to IRB and research compliance.
