Jonathan Seltzer MD, MBA, MA, FACC

Dr. Jonathan Seltzer is Director of Clinical Research at Main Line Health Heart Center President and is a co-founder of Applied Clinical Inteligence, LLC (ACI). Dr. Seltzer has a specialty in patient safety; he chairs numerous Data Monitoring Committees and has a special expertise in cardiac safety issues. ACI is a specialty provider of clinical data solutions and a CDISC® registered solutions provider of Data Monitoring Committees. In conjunction with the Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP), he has recently chaired two federally sponsored meetings focused on new models for research subject protection. Earlier in his career, he managed and served as safety officer for nationwide and international clinical trials. Dr. Seltzer serves on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators (APPI), and chairs the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association of America's (PhRMA) Clinical Advisory Board. He holds an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Seltzer was board-certified in both cardiology and internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He holds a BA (history) from Haverford College, an MBA (operations) and MA (applied economics) from the University of Michigan, and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania. His post-graduate medical training was received at the Universities of Michigan, Maryland and Chicago.
