Jerry M. Stein PhD

Jerry Stein is a scientist with significant experience conducting research in the clinic and laboratory. He is currently a contract medical / scientific writer and project management consultant working on drug and medical device project plans, clinical evaluations, publications and regulatory submissions. During his 30 years at Alcon Laboratories, he led US clinical monitoring operations as well as project development teams responsible for many of today’s most popular lens care and OTC ophthalmic products. He received a doctoral degree from Syracuse University in Behavioral Neuroscience. He has authored over 30 articles and presented papers at local, national and international meetings of ACRP and other organizations. He was a charter member of the North Texas ACRP chapter and served as Treasurer. He currently leads the ACRP Device Interest Group (DIG) Steering Committee and does not set his alarm clock anymore.
