Jean Stocks is a Research Compliance Specialist with Midwestern Regional Office (MWRO), Office of Research Oversight (ORO) at the VA in Hines, Illinois. Her expertise is in human subject protection. She has over 30 years experience as an RN and has focused on research at the James Haley VA since 1997. Her work experiences have included Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for Infectious Disease and Rheumatology Research, Clinical Research Manager and volunteered as an IRB member/reviewer. She is the Past President / Secretary of the Suncoast Chapter of ACRP, received her CCRC certification in 2001 and presented at the ACRP chapter and in Tampa 2010. Her current career focus is on research compliance, auditing and education.
