Janine McCloskey RN, BSN, CCRC

Director of Research, Neighborhood Medical Center

Janine McCloskey is a CCRC with over 19 years of experience. Janine obtained her BSN at the University of Texas at Arlington and after graduation strived to be a labor and delivery nurse. Well, Janine became a labor and delivery research nurse; not fully understanding exactly what that was. Needless to say, this was love at first job and Janine has done nothing but research ever since. Janine has worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center, LSU Health Science Center and many different private institutions and in many different therapeutic areas. Women's Health and Infectious Disease have been two passionate areas for Janine. She hopes to promote patient awareness about clinical trials and loves to educate and empower patients in their disease process. Now in a director and management role, Janine strives to educate her staff and hopes that they learn to love the profession as much as she has. Janine lives in Plano, Texas, is married with 1 child of her own and two step children. Being a baseball mom is the highlight of her nights and weekends along with routing for LSU and Saints Football. Advancing her career growth and becoming a more active member in research organizations is now the next level of Janine's research path. Janine would like to thank the ACRP for their support and honor of being able to present at this year's conference.
