Janelle Johnson, MA, LPCC holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of New Mexico and has worked in both clinical treatment and academic settings. In her current position as Senior Counselor at Santa Fe Community College she is responsible for the daily functions of counseling services, providing clinical supervision, managing the counseling intern program and representing counseling services on various campus committees and interdisciplinary teams. She is past co-chair of the Staff Senate and one of the founding members of the campus BIT team, where she currently serves as co-chair. In 2015, Janelle created and initiated the first program to utilize master’s level interns in counseling services at SFCC. Other duties include providing faculty and student workshops. In addition counseling services oversite, Janelle is an adjunct faculty in social sciences and is a certified fitness educator teaching in fitness education at SFCC.
