Ganene Steinhaus

Born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, relocated to Houston in 1981. Christian. Happily married for 35 years. Mother of 4 children, all grown and starting families of their own. Received an ADN in 1976, BSN 1991. Worked as a RN in a variety of settings. Became a research nurse coordinator at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2000, certified CCRC in 2002. Presently hold the position of Research Nurse Supervisor for the Thoracic Head and Neck Medical Oncology Department. Main responsibilities are supervision of the data management for the departments 50-60 active protocols in addition to 60+ protocols closed to new patient entry. President of ACRP Houston Chapter 2007. Recognized finalist 2007 MD Anderson Nursing Excellence Award in research.
