Ed Finerty is CRMS Project Manager in the Biomedical Informatics Group at NC TraCS Institute, academic home of the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned an M.Ed. at UNC Chapel Hill and his career has included work in the high tech industry, government and higher education. He has led local, statewide and global teams and successfully directed projects developing productivity tools, communications networks and training programs and fostering process improvement and business integration. At TraCS, his role includes project management of UNC's Clinical Research Management System development as well as related projects focused on improvement of clinical research management.
