Diane Parrington is Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Research and Director of the Clinical Research Center for Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS). Prior to her current positions, Dr. Parrington, served nine years as the Chair of the Clinical Nutrition Department for PVAHCS where she co-designed the Nutritional-Injury Diagnostic Nutrition Residency – a first for the VA. Dr. Parrington is presently Principal Investigator of a study to test the feasibility of utilizing electronic consent software and an EHR for research purposes. An ex-officio member the local IRB, Dr. Parrington is also the Director of the Clinical Research Center at the PVAHCS.
