Denise Brigham, RN, MPH is a clinical research nurse in Internal Medicine at East Carolina University in the Brody School of Medicine. She has been engaged in clinical research for the past twenty years. As a research nurse she has conducted industry, cancer cooperative group and investigator incited government funded studies in the cardiovascular, oncology and infectious diseases therapeutic areas. In addition to coordinating clinical research, she has directed the University and Medical Center Institutional Review Board Office and currently serves as a full IRB member. Ms. Brigham is passionate about educating professional about the conduct of human subject research, and serves as an item writer for ACRP.
