David Forster has undergraduate degrees in history and philosophy, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law, and a Masters degree in medical ethics under Albert Jonsen from the University of Washington Department of Medical History and Ethics. Upon graduation, David joined Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) and is currently the Vice President, Office of Compliance. In this capacity David oversees the education/training and regulatory departments, and is responsible for WIRB compliance with FDA and HHS regulations, ICH guidance, and AAHRPP accreditation requirements. David serves as auxiliary faculty at the University of Washington Department of Medical History and Ethics.
