Christine Hunter, RN has been the Center Nurse and Research Manager of the Parkinson’s Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic (PDCMDC) at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas for 16 years. I have coordinated many clinical trials for all movement disorders including many with the Parkinson Study Group (PSG) during this time period. Our site is also participating in numerous other trials for PD as well as other movement disorders. We are also conducting several investigator initiated trials in PD at our Center. I am active in the local PD community. Baylor College of Medicine, PDCMDC is a Center of Excellence for the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) and I am active with the PDF in the Clinical Research Learning Institute just entering our 4th year. I have served as the Facilitator for the Movement Disorders Special Focus Group of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and remain active in the organization as well as the Movement Disorders Society.
