Christina Salerno

Associate Vice President, Clinical Science and Study Management, Merck

Christina Salerno started in Cardiovascular Clinical Research in the mid-90s, at a time when it was one of the key pillars of Merck. She worked her way up and around in the Clinical Research/Operations in various therapeutic areas. Through the years, she has also held roles in Project Management and Clinical Quality Operations. Overall she’s been a manager for over 20 years. All of this helped her to take on the role she has now – Head of CSSM General Medicine, covering Cardiovascular/Respiratory, Atherosclerosis/Metabolism, Neurosciences and Immunology.
