Christina Ledbetter, PhD is a post-doctoral fellow at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport (LSUHSC-S) and works in the Department of Neurosurgery. She majored in physics at Centenary College of Louisiana, studied medical physics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and received her PhD in pharmacology, toxicology, and neuroscience from LSUHSC-S. Her research interests include application of advanced image analysis tools for improved interpretation of clinical MR imaging and utilization of structural and functional imaging modalities for investigating cognitive function in normal and disease states. She has presented her research findings at local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Ledbetter is integrally involved in both sponsored and investigator initiated research and has a working knowledge of diverse aspects required of each.
