Chris von Briesen has been involved in clinical research for over five years. Employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Department of Emergency Medicine, the focus of the research has been on the resuscitation of critical patients. Most of the research has been conducted under the federal regulations regarding exception to informed consent under emergency circumstances (CFR 50.24). Mr. von Briesen is currently is a coordinator for the Milwaukee site of the Resuscitations Outcomes Consortium (ROC), an NIH funded network developed to execute cardiac arrest and trauma trials.
