Andrea Alana Sisson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 2004 at North Central College in Naperville, IL and completed her Master of Science in Strategic Management at Indiana University-Bloomington in Bloomington, IN in 2012. She has nearly 10 years of industry experience, starting her career in 2005 as an Analytical Chemist with AIT Laboratories which provided compliance monitoring, forensic and clinical testing services to coroners offices and other clients. Due to diligence, determination and hard work she quickly moved up the corporate ladder in just a few years to Laboratory Operations Manager overseeing all the laboratory departments which totaled over 300 employees. Andrea gained a significant amount of managerial experience during her career in areas such as project management, resource forecasting, individual development plans, mentoring, performance reviews, and focused feedback. In addition to management duties, Andrea strengthened her business acumen by serving as a consultant to the Leadership Advisory Board at AIT which was designed to investigate training program effectiveness, career development opportunities and enhance various training curriculum. Andrea joined Roche in 2011 as a CRA working on a variety of studies in the following disease areas: oncology, infectious disease, infertility, and lung disease for a companion diagnostics study. In 2014, she became a Lead CRA and currently her responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, protocol review and input, developing study specific training materials, and training. Further, Andrea also serves as the global Communications Manager to over 200 employees supporting the Roche Professional Diagnostics MSA senior leadership team with the business areas vision and strategy.
