Almut Malone graduated from the University of Munich, Germany, as DVM in 1991 and started her professional career as monitor and project manager at a CRO in 1991, continued as manager clinical research and regulatory affairs for a pharmaceutical company in 1993 and was a feelance consultant since 1996, covering many different indications with focus on haematology, immunology and sepsis. In 2001 she added clinical supply management to her portfolio of services, and since 2008 she coordinates cold chain distribution of international studies to alll continents. Almut contributed to several congresses on logistics and distribution of temperature-controlled clinical trial supplies as an expert speaker. She is a member of Euronet Clinical Trial Task Force (www.euronet-cttf.de) and the Association of European Consultancies (AEC).
