Alicia Pouncey, MEd, serves as Managing Director at New Orleans-based AUREUS, a clinical research services organization she organized in 1997. She spent the last few years performing quality assurance audits of Phase I facilities. She has also developed and conducted numerous training courses specific to Phase 1. Ms. Pouncey has worked within the clinical trials industry over 16 years. She joined JNJ as a Regional Monitor after working previously as a study coordinator and IRB representative. She is also a Faculty member for the DIA Advanced Topics in Clinical Research course. Alicia is a consultant to industry and academic IRBs and has conducted numerous training programs. Alicia earned her BS from Mississippi State University and her MEd in Exercise Physiology from The University of Houston.
