My nursing experience includes maternal-child, medical, and oncology nursing. I served as a School of Practical Nursing Instructor. I've held positions in Nursing Staff Development, Quality Assessment, and Clinical Performance Improvement. While in the Clinical Performance Improvement Department I coordinated a study of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia in cardiovascular surgery. I currently coordinate investigator-initiated research projects specializing in the area of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.
