Dr. Karen L. King is an Associate Professor of Biology at University of Cincinnati Raymond Walters College in Blue Ash, Ohio. She received her Ph.D. in Biological Science at Florida State University. With 5 years of administrative experience as department head and 12 years of experience as Coordinator of the Clinical Research Certificate Program offered at the University of Cincinnati, she has extensive experience in clinical research education and training. Karen designed and implemented the original curriculum for the certificate program at UC and has converted clinical research courses to an online delivery format. Additionally, she teaches both face-to-face and online clinical research courses required for the certificate program and is a frequent guest speaker on Clinical Research Education. Karen also serves as a board member alternate for a central IRB located in Cincinnati.
