Kim McDonald-Taylor MSc

Kim McDonald-Taylor, MSc started in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 1988 after 8 years of basic research in heavy metal toxicity, during which she earned her MSc, at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. She began her pharmaceutical career as a CRA with both Searle Canada and Miles Canada. Kim joined Endpoint Research in 1994 as a Project Director. She worked in multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, respirology, rheumatology, immunology and infectious diseases. She was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 1999 which evolved into the position of Managing Director, Canada Operations which she held until leaving Endpoint. In 2007, Kim joined Wyatt Health Management as Director, Clinical Services. This consulting firm works with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms from Phase III to IV. In her capacity, Kim performs clinical audits, writes submissions to the Common Drug Review and participates in International Research projects such as the recent "Wyatt Health International Comparison" study. Kim is the President of the Clinical Research Association of Canada (CRAC) and has worked with them since 1995. CRAC holds several education dinner meetings in the Toronto area for CRAs, Clinical Research Managers, Study Coordinators and others in the Clinical Research field as well as producing a clinical research newsletter for its members. Kim has spoken at several clinical conferences since 2003, including both the International and Canadian DIA meetings. In her spare time, Kim volunteers as a leader with Girl Guides of Canada and enjoys outdoor activities, skiing and photography with her family.
