Howell Sasser PhD, MPH

Dr. Sasser is Director of Research Epidemiology for Carolinas HealthCare System. He also holds adjunct faculty appointments at the Universities of North and South Carolina. He serves as research consultant to several clinical departments, and teaches research methods and basic statistics as part of several departments' residency training programs. Among his current research projects are a clinical trial of bone morphogenetic protein; modeling of symptom data for poisoning surveillance; and registries of cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. He received a BA from the Johns Hopkins University, MPH from the University of South Carolina, and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh.
